AFCCT – Football Fans in Training, FFIT, starts 5th September

Aberdeen FC Community Trust is delighted to announce the Football Fans in Training (FFIT) programme will return to both Pittodrie Stadium and Harlaw Park on Tuesday 5th September.

The initiative helps supporters feel better and live a healthier lifestyle by losing weight. FFIT is a health and wellbeing programme, where like-minded individuals attending the programme learn about healthy eating, portion control and increasing physical activity with a view to losing weight and becoming fitter.

David Smith, Senior Community Projects Officer of the Aberdeen FC Community Trust said, “We are delighted to bring the Football Fans in Training programme back to both Aberdeen and Inverurie.

“FFIT has been an incredible success so far with an average weight loss of more than half a stone per person!”
The free programme will run from 6-7.30pm every Tuesday at each venue and is available for men aged 35-65.
A ladies FFIT programme will be launched in early 2018.

For more information on the course and how to get involved please contact Stephen Boddie for Harlaw Park at Stephen.boddie@afccommunitytrust.org or for Pittodrie Stadium contact David Smith at dean.mcbain@afccommunitytrust.org
