EFDN member Apollon FC recently carried out another corporate social responsibility project, which was completed successfully on Thursday 30th January, whereby some of the clubs’ football players and staff, visited the Apostolos Loucas Day Center which is a non-profit organization, established in 2000, in Limassol.

The Day Center provides aid to senior citizens who face mental health issues and aims to help rehabilitate them and ultimately, help them integrate back into society.

Players from Apollon FC who attended the trip to Apostolos Loucas Day Center included, Adrian Sardinero, Joel Mall and Florentin Matei who signed autographs, took photos and were able to provide some relief and bring joy to the people at Apostolos Loucas Day Center. Alongside the clubs’ players, was Mr. Andreas Hadjipanayi, the Head of Marketing of the clubs sponsor, Remedica, who always supports the club with similar projects.

Apollon Football Club express their appreciation to Apostolos Loucas Day Center for giving the club and players the opportunity to give back to their community, as this has always been a top priority for the club, therefore they are extremely thankful to have been able to carry out a successful CSR project, helping those senior citizens facing mental health issues at the day center on their rehabilitation journey towards integrating back into society.
