Big Hearts launches Changing Room Project for Young Women

In 2022, Big Hearts is teaming up with fellow EFDN Member Hibernian Community Foundation to build on the success of SAMH The Changing Room project by offering a similar wellbeing initiative aimed at young women.

The Changing Room Project for Young Women has one goal – to bring people together with the power of football to tackle their mental health. Big Hearts, alongside Hibernian Community Foundation are delivering this initiative for men and were the first Clubs to run the programme in Scotland. From the summer of 2022, Big Hearts will deliver this new 12-month pilot programme at Tynecastle Park whilst the Hibernian Community Foundation will deliver it at Easter Road.

The attendees will be able to attend the drop-in info session and find out more about the new pilot programme including many other activities during the event. The programme is held in The Shed, at Tynecastle Park and open to women aged 18 to 30, it offers participants opportunities to meet up, engage in activities together and start positive conversations about their mental health and wellbeing.
