Big Hearts offer autumn activities for young people

This autumn Big Hearts will continue to engage with young people, across various programmes, throughout the October school break.

The popular School’s Out! project will welcome up to 25 children referred to Big Hearts by local schools. Each afternoon from 18th to 22nd October, the group will be provided with a free hot lunch and a range of exciting activities including arts and crafts and fun indoor games.

The Kinship Care project for younger people and their carers, will see families enjoy a trip to Almond Valley for a wonderful day of adventure and play.

The Big Hearts charity is thrilled to have received £2700 funding from our long-time partner Radio Forth Cash for Kids, which will help to support activities for our School’s Out! and Kinship Care programmes.

In addition, the Off the Bench project will host a special a citizenship day for young adults aged 18-24. This involves each young person volunteering for a good cause within the community.

The That’s Me project will see the young people go out together for a fun afternoon bowling. This holiday activity aims to help them create social connection and make new memories.
