Blue Santas Hit The Streets Of Liverpool

A team of Blue Santas took to the streets of Liverpool on Sunday, December 2nd in the morning to raise money for Everton in the Community.

Despite the wet weather, thousands of fundraisers participated in the 15th annual 5k Santa Dash around some of the city’s most iconic buildings, including the Club’s headquarters, the Royal Liver Building. In total, 21 runners in blue Santa suits picked EitC as their chosen charity, with funds going towards The People’s Project, an initiative that aims to build and run a mental health facility in the shadows of Goodison Park.

Those who decided to run for the Club’s official charity were invited to pre-run light refreshments and a tour around the Toffees’ new offices, as the route took blue, green and red Santas through the city centre and over the Churchill flyover. Festive characters, snow and cheering onlookers awaited the participants as they crossed the finish line at Liverpool Town Hall.

Everton in the Community congratulates and thanks all those involved for their help and support.
