EFDN Board members are appointed based on their extensive knowledge and rich experience in CSR-related work within their clubs, and their passion and enthusiasm to work together on a European level to enhance the social impact of football.

”As a representative of one of the most popular multisport clubs and the first Central-Eastern European club that joined EFDN in 2015, I am delighted to force the CSR-development of the Clubs from my region at EFDN. My presence in the Board is a great opportunity to me and to EFDN as well to set up the right approach and strategy to involve Central-Eastern European clubs into valuable community –building projects. Moreover, to develop these clubs CSR-activities and to bring values and change lives of people in our region by these clubs.” – Bálint Máté.

“I am committed to the EFDN network in particular as it is in harmony with the values and aims of my organisation here at Everton.
Sport can and does change lives and offer huge opportunities for people some of whom may have lost their direction. EFDN harnesses that power and together as a group we can make a huge difference on a global scale.” – Phill Duffy
