RANDERS FC AND THE MINIPRANTS

Randers FC’s have been running their CSR “Minipraktanterna” project for well over a year now.  The project has had four pupils (three with autism and one with Down’s syndrome) from the special schools in “Mini-practice” one day a week.  The pupils perform a normal work activity at the Club, which is adapted to the individual student’s specific wishes and capabilities.  For example, one student helps the club’s material people to wash the players’ training clothes, another helps in the kitchen to arrange the players’ and employees’ lunch, while two students help prepare the many lounges for home games and other events. The video below, which has been created as part of UEFA’s Equal Game Campaign, lets you hear a little about what Oliver, with Down’s Syndrome, and Andreas, with autism, are doing when they work with Randers FC, and what it does for them.

It was also a difficult day for Oliver last week when he had to say goodbye to his favourite player, Frederik Due, who left Randers FC to sign for Hartford Athletic in the United States.
