Everton in the Community will launch new programme: ‘Health Matters’

Everton in the Community’s Active Blues programme is soon to launch ‘Health Matters’, an introductory project for individuals wishing to make healthier lifestyle choices.

The free six-week programme will begin on Wednesday 2 August and runs weekly from 6.30pm-8pm. Aimed at males aged 35-50 in North Liverpool, Health Matters is delivered by EitC and Edge Hill University and funded by Sport England to enable inactive men to become physically active through sport.

Weekly sessions

The weekly sessions will offer health advice, tips on diet and nutrition as well as weekly sports sessions ran by qualified coaches and instructors from EitC. There will also be prizes on offer for people completing the six-week course.

To register your interest and for more information contact Everton in the Community’s Health and Wellbeing practitioner Dean Jones on 0151 530 5253 or email dean.jones@evertonfc.com
