FC Midtjylland and FCM Samfund help former homeless people

FCM Samfund, the charity of our member FC Midtjylland is working together with a home that takes care of previously homeless people and vulnerable young people between the ages of 18-30.

The PotentialeHotel has up to 15 residents. They are engaged in the struggle to get out of homelessness and to reach the foundation for a meaningful life. The residents come from all over Denmark. Some want environmental change, others have been couch surfers. FC Midtjylland invited PotentialeHotel to experience the training of the Danish football team.

The Players met the residents and handed over FCM Samfund shirts so that they could dress up for their own games in the Udsatte Ligaen (Exposed League) with the FCM logo close to heart. The first game (arranged by RECOVERY BULLS) was played on Saturday, October 5 in Esbjerg and the team played for togetherness, kindness and love. In the future, FC Midtjylland will arrange training visits at the PotentialeHotel.

Strong values and several CSR programmes

FC Midtjylland was only founded in 1999 and less than 20 years later have won the Danish championship twice. The Club itself, have strong values and are much more than a football club. The club truly believes that sport unifies despite culture, language and social status. Through its Community Trust, FCM Samfund, FC Midtjylland cultivates and celebrates unity and wants to create well-being and togetherness. It is their very clear goal to create an increased quality of life by helping and moving people to reach their life goals. FC Midtjylland is involved in several CSR programmes.
