Ferencváros Participates in 3rd European Week of Sport

Be Active! The European Week of Sports is organised this week. The Fradi School Program is an active participant of the initiative

Between September 23 and 30 the European Week of Sport is organised. The European Commission aims to promote sports and physical activity across Europe. The campaign urges Europeans to participate in sports this week, and to make it a regular habit thereafter throughout the year.  The Week is for everyone, regardless of age, background or fitness level. The campaign #BeActive is a call to action to get Europeans moving!

Ferencváros’ The Fradi School Program joined the initiative for the second time this year. On this occasion, István Bognár, football player, and László Soós, ice hockey player, joined by the Fradi eagle mascot, visited Péterfy Sándor Primary School in Nagykanizsa, and another school in Bikal on Wednesday. The Fradi School Program raises the attention of the youngsters of the importance of sports and physical activity, and promotes the great history of the Ferencváros club. FTC invests into the youth to gain even more supporters for the future. Their other goal is to present the children a healthy and active lifestyle and encourage them to follow it.

The motto is: “Come, do sports, be part of the Fradi family!”
