Feyenoord supporters donate clothing to children in Ukraine
Last Tuesday at the Champions League game – Feyenoord Rotterdam vs. Shakthar Donetsk, Feyenoord supporters arrived at stadium De Kuip with clothing to donate to children in the Ukraine.
The initiative was collectively organised by Feyenoord, the Feyenoord Foundation and Shakhtar Donetsk and its Foundation.
The Feyenoord fans collected sport shoes and sport clothes for the children in need. All supporters that were unable to hand in their donation will have another opportunity to do so, at this week’s game against Ajax Amsterdam.
The donations will be handed over from Feyenoord to the children at the game on 1st of November in Charkov. Due to the political unrest, the game will not be played in Shakthar Donetsk’s home city.
In addition to this charitable initiative, staff members of the Feyenoord Foundation will deliver training sessions in cooperation with their colleagues from Shakhtar Donetsk in Charkov.
