FK Sarajevo brightened up the end of the year

For the end of 2021, the Football Club Sarajevo and SFK 2000 Sarajevo surprised the children from the Public Institution for Special Education and Upbringing of Children “Mjedenica” and the Home for Children without Parental Care Bjelava with New Year’s packages.

The burgundy packages arrived in the hands of the children, and were handed over by the players of FK Sarajevo and SFK 2000 Sarajevo, who used the time to socialize with the girls and boys.

JU Institute for Special Education and Upbringing of Children “Mjedenica” is an educational institution that has existed since 1947. The mission of this institution is to provide the most adequate professional multidisciplinary support to children with disabilities and their parents, and to improve their position in society.

After the visit to “Mjedenica”, the burgundy team visited the children in the “Home for children without parental care” in Bjelava. The children’s smile today was the most beautiful award for the end of the year. The Home for children without parental care in Sarajevo was founded in 1900, and currently has approximately 90 children. The activities of the Home are primarily related to the provision of services for the overall care, upbringing, education, health care of children without parental care and children whose development is hindered by family circumstances, as well as the reception of pregnant women and firstborns with children under six months.
