2 team places still available for Football Works Festival

There are still 2 places available for teams at the Football Works Festival which will be held in the “De Karelskamp” prison in Almelo, Netherlands on Thursday 13 June 2019. The Festival is jointly organised by the Dutch Department of Justice (DJI) and the European Football for Development Network (EFDN) and creates a platform for football clubs and prisons from across Europe that offer work placement programmes for vulnerable target groups. Former participants, employees and role models are rewarded with a unique tournament within the walls of the prison, showing the world that football can actually contribute to a safer society.

Along with the football tournament, which will involve 14 teams from across Europe, there is also a special Football Works Conference where representatives of prisons, governments, football clubs and NGO’s can attend presentations of best practice programmes and share their knowledge and experience.

Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity and register by e-mailing Footballworks@efdn.org.
