Fulfilled heart’s desire when visiting the players’ cabin

FC Schalke 04 and Schalke will help! fulfilled another heart’s desire on Thursday (19.1.). Initiated by the charitable organization “Dein Moment eV”, Königsblau invited Tim and his family to exclusive areas of the VELTINS Arena.

When Tim, who was born with an extra chromosome, had to cancel the appointment to visit the stadium last year because of Corona, he was deeply sad. He beamed all the happier when he was finally allowed to explore the Royal Blues’ stadium. Tim was accompanied by his father and brother. They are also big Schalke fans and revealed that Tim couldn’t sleep with excitement before the big day.

In addition to highlights such as the players’ tunnel, the press conference room and the chapel, his heart’s desire came true when he was allowed to take a seat in the team dressing room. With great admiration, he explored the different spaces behind the scenes and enjoyed the moment to the fullest. The visit was made even more magical by meeting professional player Soichiro Kozuki, who promptly offered to take a few photos.

The special afternoon was rounded off in the Schalke Museum, where Tim said goodbye with a Schalke scarf, autograph cards and other fan accessories.
