IF Elfsborg invites 2000 children to home match

2100 children who participated in the Good Kompis Klassfotball tournament in May had the opportunity to join the match of IF Elfsborg against Kalmar FF. The Swedish club was happy to see that many children accepted the invitation to the match.

All children who played at the tournament received a voucher for the match in their participant package. The voucher included a free ticket for the child and the opportunity to buy tickets at a reduced price for their parents and siblings. Prior to the match, this year’s Fair Play Prize was awarded to the team that won the year’s most important prize at Ryda Sportfield. The award ceremony took place on the pitch.

Cooperation with lectures and Byttorps IF

Together with Byttorps IF, IF Elsfsborg organises the Good Kompis Klassfotball tournament for children in grades 1-6 every year. The football tournament, which also includes additional school lectures, is part of the clubs social work. Approx. 2000 children attend each year.

Elfsborg wants to act as a positive force in society. The clubs knows that it has unique opportunity to open doors and feels a responsibility to use these opportunities to do good things. Through responsibility, attitude and respect, the clubs hopes to influence the society – together with its supporters.
