Legia Warsaw Academy players clean graves

On Wednesday, July 31, the day before the 75th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, the Legia Foundation team together with young players of the U15 Football Academy of Legia Warsaw honored the memory of the Warsaw insurgents resting on the Northern Cemetery in Warsaw.

Despite the high temperature at the Northern Cemetery, there was an action to clean up the graves of the participants of the Warsaw Uprising. Players of Legia U15 and members of the Foundation cleaned the graves of Warsaw insurgents for several hours, including those who were associated with Legia Warsaw. In this way, the club and its foundation could commemorate the soldiers who died during the Warsaw Uprising. For Legia, taking care of history is the responsibility of everyone, so the Legia academy players suggested to remember about the participants of the Warsaw Uprising not only on August 1.
