Leyton Orient and Waltham Forest to launch free monthly networking event for over 50s

On Friday, July 28, Leyton Orient Trust and the Waltham Forest Local Area Coordinators are launching a new FREE monthly network event for residents over the age of 50, giving older residents the opportunity to find out about groups, activities and services available to them across the borough.

Residents from across the borough are invited the Matchroom Stadium to grab some tasty nibbles provided by Tesco and chat to our stall holders, try out an activity taster and meet and socialise with other likeminded residents who want to get out more. The event will also offer opportunities for residents to share ideas around new activities they would like to see in the borough with support and advice provided in how they can be set up.

Local Groups attending the Leyton Orient’s event on July 28 include:

Carer’s First
Age UK Waltham Forest
CREST Waltham Forest
