Liverpool FC Foundation new EFDN member

EFDN is proud to announce that Liverpool FC Foundation are the latest organisation to join our ever growing network as a member. The official charity of Liverpool Football Club was established in 2010 and uses the passion of LFC fans to do good in their communities.

The mission of Liverpool FC Foundation is to bring the LFC Family together to create life-changing opportunities for children and young people. The Foundation’s work focuses on the three key impact areas of wellbeing, skills and communities to address the root causes of the issues that face children and young people, and aims to deliver long term sustainable change. The charity operates in areas of high deprivation across Liverpool City Region, which is the most deprived city region in England. Last season the Foundation supported over 28,000 beneficiaries and it continues to develop in order to be able to support even more communities in need both in Liverpool and on an international scale.

EFDN is looking forward to collaborating with Liverpool FC Foundation. Attendees of our 13th EFDN “CSR in European Football” Conference at Camp Nou, Barcelona, in November, had the opportunity to learn more about the Foundation’s CSR strategy from Matt Parish, Director of LFC Foundation. He also presented the Red Neighbours initiative as an example for best practice. The presentation is available on our Online Learning Platform.
