EFDN welcomes 8th Scottish club Dundee FC in the network

EFDN has signed a new membership agreement with the Scottish Club Dundee F.C. and its charity Dundee Football Club in the Community Trust (DFC Community Trust). The club is the 8th club in Scotland that joins the network which makes Scotland the most represented country within EFDN. 

The Dundee FC in the Community Trust was established in November 2017 as a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). The purpose is to promote education and public participation in sport through the organisation of recreational activities leading to an improvement in the participants’ living conditions.

Charitable Aims:

-The increase of public participation in sport, by providing the opportunity for adults & the youth within the City of Dundee and its surroundings; to train and play football.

-To organise recreational activities for people living in Dundee and its surrounding areas with the purpose of improving the health, fitness and wellbeing of all people regardless of their ages or gender; through public participation in physical exercise.

-The advancement of education by providing fundings and opportunities for the delivery of educational initiatives.

-To improve the social inclusion of people in the community.
