No Child without a present thanks to FC Emmen
For many children it is normal to receive a gift during the holidays, but unfortunately, this does not apply to everyone. EFDN member FC Emmen is going to do something about that!
The club will collect as many presents as possible for children up to 12 years old who normally don’t receive presents during Christmas time, for whatever reason.
From Monday 6 December onwards there will be a big Christmas tree with a Christmas house on the #HIERKOMIKWEG square in front of the stadium De Oude Meerdijk. From Tuesday 7 December until Thursday 9 December, anyone can drop off a present every day between 2 pm and 5 pm and on Friday 10 December between 2 pm and 8 pm. It is also possible for people to send a present to FC Emmen. It must be a new item, not an already used toy. The club will take care of wrapping the gift and the gift may have a maximum value of €20. It is also possible to give the name of a child that deserves a present. On Wednesday afternoon, mascot SIBI will receive all presents. And on Friday afternoon Father Christmas himself!
The club will deliver the gifts to the children in week 50 and 51 (until Thursday 23 December at the latest).
