OFI Crete FC supports again “Our Heroes”

Once again this year OFI Crete FC is actively participating and supporting in the battle for awareness and information availability around the world related to childhood and adolescent cancer. The month of September is dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. Therefore, OFI Crete announced a series of activations that will run throughout the month including the match against Panitolikos.

Specifically, on Thursday September 8th, OFI Crete FC organized a voluntary blood donation, together with the charity organization “The Company of Love”, at the blood donation stand of PAGNI in Eleftherias Square.

All fans who came to the center of Heraklion and donated blood for the children of the Clinical Hematology – Oncology for children and adolescents of PAGNI, received a FREE invitation for the match against Panetolikos.

The actions of OFI Crete FC continued on Saturday, when families with children who are fighting their own big battle of life were hosted at our stadium and watched the game against the team from Agrinio.

Prior to the start of the match, the players of both teams and the referees entered the pitch wearing T-shirts with the gold ribbon (an international symbol of childhood cancer awareness) and the message “Our Heroes”, while the anti-childhood cancer symbol was worn by all team staff working at the stadium.
