Once in a lifetime experience for children with autism spectrum disorder during NAC – Excelsior

During the match of the EFDN members NAC and Excelsior the main stand will be filled with twenty children, to let them experience a day they will not forget. The children suffer from an Autism Spectrum Disorder, which means that they normally experience too many stimuli while attending matches in a full stadium.

The Belgian Pro League used all the empty stadiums at the beginning of this month to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience to these children. During NAC – SBV Excelsior, NAC will follow this example.

Niels Quispel (NAC Maatschappelijk): “As a club, we think it is important to let everyone experience an evening at NAC. Due to the current circumstances, it gives these children the opportunity to experience this under the supervision of a parent, this would not be possible in a regular season. ”
