PSG Children’s Day at the Parc des Princes
Accepting an invitation from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)-Les Enfants d’abord (“Children First”), more than 7,000 youngsters flocked to the Parc des Princes on Wednesday for Children’s Day, lending a fun and exciting atmosphere to the first team’s training session.
This is the fifth year running that Paris Saint-Germain has held the event, which it organises with the support of around 30 charities and partner institutions, among them Secours Populaire and the Necker Children’s Hospital, sponsored clubs, Les Yvelines Departmental Council and Paris City Hall.
“We are delighted to be able to offer these memorable moments to children who are with us throughout the year in the shape of 350 events and initiatives,” said Sabrina Delannoy, deputy director of the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation. “All the club’s players were there and took the time to talk to the children at the end of the training session. It’s an occasion they enjoy and an end-of-season event that in the space of just a few short years has fully established itself on the club calendar. It also provides Paris Saint-Germain-Les Enfants d’abord with an opportunity to express our gratitude to all our partners for the support they give us throughout the year.”
Before the training session, the children also met their freestyle football heroes Lisa, Logan, Pola and Wiz. Paris Saint-Germain-Les Enfants d’abord is an entity that brings together the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation and Endowment Fund.
