Register now for the 18th EFDN Conference!

The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) will host its 18th EFDN Conference from the 14th until the 16th of November 2022 in Budapest, Hungary. The topic of this EFDN Conference will be “Sustainability and Human Rights”, which will take place at the Groupama Arena, the stadium of EFDN Member Ferenvárosi TC.

This event will be the next European gathering for our Community and Social Responsibility (CSR) network after the successful 17th EFDN Conference that took place in Liverpool in May 2022, hosted by EFDN Members Everton FC and Liverpool FC in the legendary venues of Goodison Park and Anfield.

EFDN Conferences bring a unique opportunity for CSR experts and newcomers into the CSR world to learn from each other and share their insights about topics such as fundraising in CSR, environmental sustainability, anti-discrimination, social inclusion, online safeguarding, physical activity for younger and older population, or STEM education, among others. The format of the conference includes panels, breakout sessions, study visits and roundtables, and offers multiple chances to network and connect with other EFDN members and experts in CSR in football.

The content of the 18th EFDN Conference will be announced soon. In the meantime, EFDN can already share that there will be three days of events (14-16th of November) for EFDN Members and non-members who buy their tickets, followed by evening events on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th. On Monday, 14th, the afternoon programme will be dedicated to League and FA’s while the General Assembly in the late afternoon is the traditional start of the Conference. Later that evening a TACBIS (Tackling Colourblindness in Sport) Cocktail Party and panel and EFDN’s Welcoming Dinner will take place.

On Tuesday, November 15th the programme kicks off with panels, presentations and roundtables while in the evening the EFDN More than Football Gala dinner will take place. During this event, we will announce which organisation wins the More than Football 2022 Award and the club branded Musco Mini-Pitch. Previous winners were the foundations of Club Brugge, Shakhtar Donetsk and Hearts of Midlothian.

On the last day of the Conference, Wednesday, November 16th, we continue with an inspiring lineup of experts, panels and breakout sessions.
