RKC Waalwijk’s successfully closes ‘Scoren voor Gezondheid’ with big event

Oon Thursday 30 September, the Foundation Together RKC organised the closing ceremony of the ‘Scoren voor Gezondheid’ project. For 500 primary school pupils there was a fun sports and games afternoon on the fields of WSC.

The pupils could participate in an obstacle course, korfball and the fire brigade game. Because Scoren voor Gezondheid is about a healthy lifestyle, everyone was offered a healthy snack by partner Jumbo. The closing of Scoren voor Gezondheid had already been planned for the previous school year, but due to the COVID-19 measures it was now made up.

Scoren voor Gezondheid is one of the most successful projects organised by Samen RKC. During the project, information is provided about the disc of five and a healthy lifestyle. Pupils from group 6 of primary schools in the municipalities of Waalwijk and Heusden take part in this project. In cooperation with the municipalities involved, GGD Hart voor Brabant, neighbourhood sports coaches and regional associations, we will be working on the project for twelve weeks.
