Willem II Betrokken Foundation published their first Annual Report

Willem II Betrokken Foundation presents its first annual report. The report is focused on the year 2020. A year that has been overshadowed by COVID-19, but therefore also a year in which the social role of Willem II Betrokken Foundation has become even more important. The report provides a good overview of all the wonderful social projects and special initiatives.

These include “Playing for Success”, “Willem II Football Memories” and “Scoring a Book!”. In 2020, Willem II Betrokken Foundation launched two new projects: the blind stand and the “Rabo Willem II Foodtour”.

Willem II Betrokken ambassador Leo Alkemade and general manager Martin van Geel are also featured in the report. Alkemade explains exactly what his ambassadorship with Willem II Involved entails and what he finds special about his role. Van Geel explains what the foundation means for the club and for society.

A separate section in the annual report is ‘In The Picture’. In this section, the pictures speak for themselves. Six special initiatives are shown here. Among others, the Easter action, the volunteer action and the light action are shown.

Willem II Betrokken thanks its social partners DHL, Albert Heijn, Rabobank and AVEC. In the report, they explain why they have committed to Willem II Betrokken and what makes the partnership so great. The report also features the twelve different project partners.

Suzanne Albregts, coordinator of Willem II Betrokken said: “I am delighted and extremely proud that we are presenting our first social annual report. For almost five years now, our projects and activities have shown the power of Willem II for the city of Tilburg. This year, for the first time, we show this in an annual report. A great moment!”

You can find the report in Dutch here on our Online Learning Platform.
