FC Red Bull Salzburg – Consortio Iuvavum

FC Red Bull Salzburg is proud to support the first fan charity, Consortio Iuvavum, created in 2017 by several fan clubs of the team.

Consortio Iuvavum (Latin for ‘Community Salzburg‘) has been brought into life by several FC Red Bull Salzburg fan clubs who have always been ready to help a good cause and support the people in need and charities.  Moreover, the charity’s purpose is to promote the personal relationship of people in the local community, and to strengthen the thought that everyone has a commitment of doing good deeds to the society. Consortio Iuvavum aims to help people in need quickly, unbureaucratically and efficiently.

FC Red Bull Salzburg is particularly proud of having very active fan clubs, who are constantly creating and completing charitable projects with great dedication and passion. To provide more support to the fan initiatives and charity events in the future, General Manager Stephan Reiter took over the patronage of the public charity. He is pleased about this new venture and the great involvement of fans in social projects:

”It really pleases me whenever our fans get involved in socially beneficial projects. The great idea of bringing all the charity events under an umbrella organisation made it an easy decision for me to accompany them in the future as a patron.”

Results

As of February 2018, 6 events have already been hosted by the new initiative, including the annual charity BBQ event and Christmas Carols at the Red Bull Arena. A total of EUR 12,174 has been raised by the fans.
