Fradi Films

Ferencvárosi Torna Club holds it of great importance to celebrate its rich traditions. To bring fans closer to club legends and the newest successes, the club issues films under the brand name Fradi Films. The films are shot and edited by FTC’s official media crew, FradiMédia.

The most recent Fradi Film-success was the movie titled “The Hard Way” (A nehezebb út). This is a nearly 2-hour-long documentary on the life of Ferencváros legend Jenő Dalnoki, who won an Olympic Gold with the Hungarian national football team at the 1952 Helsinki Games, while as a coach, he led FTC to the final of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1975. The film was widely praised and won a prize at the gala of the Hungarian Association of Sports Journalists (MSÚSZ).

Another prize-winning Fradi Film was the movie shot in FTC’s Hungarian international Dániel Böde’s home village. Böde was born in Madocsa, Tolna county, and is a true hero for the 2000 people living there. In his spare time, Böde works as a coach for the local 5th tier football team.

Ferencváros also made films about the football team’s recent successes, the 2015 year and the 2015/16 season. These movies show the incredible, 34-match-long undefeated run, the 29th championship title won by a record-breaking 21 points margin and all the Fradi-goals during this period.

The aforementioned 1975 CWC-final’s 40th anniversary was also commemorated by a 20-minute-long movie with the accounts of the cup run’s main protagonists. The film was first shown to the team itself at the anniversary dinner.
