Fradi School Programme reaches 28,000 children

In the school year 2015/16, our club relaunched the Fradi School Programme. As a result we reached 14,000 children. Our school visiting project is continued in the 2016/2017 school year as well.
As part of the Fradi School Programme, our delegation visits the participating schools with two or three athletes of the Club’s sport sections and the Fradi Eagle, our club mascot which is very popular with pupils. Initially, we mainly went to schools in Budapest, but by now, the Fradi School Programme has been extended to towns on the countryside as wel. The latest destinations in October 2016 were the Piarist Gymnasium in Budapest, and Vak Bottyán János Catholic Primary School in Gyöngyös.
The programme includes a quiz on the history of Ferencváros to win valuable club-branded prizes. The quiz, along with a short film, provides children with an insight into our club’s successful history. Present history is represented by our active athletes, who are ready to answer pupils’ questions after the podium interview. At the end of the programme, pupils have the opportunity to ask for a signature or take a selfie with our players.
Children are also invited to the Groupama Arena. By presenting the coupon they receive, they can follow one match live with their escort free of charge in our stadium. The photos taken during the school visits are uploaded to the official Facebook page of Ferencváros, so children can find themselves on Fradi’s official media platform.
