Jump Into Journalism

12965783_1691818307754489_1042156798_nThis new course provides young people with an insight into the diverse and exciting world of media journalism and photography, opening the door to potential careers in the industry.
Media at Rangers, one of the biggest clubs in the world, is fast-paced and incorporates publications, TV, social media, photography and digital media.  Participants on the course therefore gain an excellent grounding in all aspects of sports media, from PR to television, and get an insight into skills and career paths from the professionals working within the media team at the Club.
Participants get the opportunity to interview Rangers legends and first team players, report on first team and under 21 games, work on layouts and design for the Rangers matchday programme, learn about photography and produce features and on-line content.
We are grateful to East Dunbartonshire Council and to Glasgow City Council for their fund
ing support for this programme.
