Notts County Foundation – CARE
The Cancer and Rehabilitation Exercise (CARE) programme is for men and women living with Cancer. Notts County Foundation work in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support to deliver this incredibly effective cancer programme.
CARE uses physical activity to help patients during their recovery from cancer. CARE provides participants with a social environment to share stories, build strength and increase their confidence and self-esteem during a difficult period in their lives.
Participants can be referred before their treatment starts, meaning they can benefit from the programme before, throughout and after their treatment. However participants are welcome to join at any time. Other programme benefits are:
– Full use of a the cardio, weights and functional gyms
– Use of the swimming pool
– Access to over 20 fitness classes
