PFC Ludogorets – VIVACOMCUP

PFC Ludogorets organised the VIVACOMCUP tournament already for three times and combined football and culture.

Participants in 2019 were Ludogorets, Dinamo (Tbilisi), Rabotnicki (Skopje), Chernomorets (Odessa), Universitatea (Craiova) and Voivodina (Novi Sad). The teams will be separated into two groups. Ludogorets and Dinamo will be the group leaders of the A and B groups.

All participants in the international VIVACOMCUP tournament took a break from the games and participated in a folklore flashmob. The young players from all teams were introduced to the basics of the traditional Bulgarian dances. The coaches of the Hortse dance school showed them everything they wanted to see. The players then showed typical moves from their home countries. They also showed how their fans supported them during games.

The whole event was organized by Ludogorets, the Community charity fund in Razgrad and the Hortse dance school lead by the choreographer Rumen Ivanov. The event ended with a traditional Bulgarian dance called horo and all the players took part in it.

A mixed team composed of players from all six participants at VIVACOMCUP won a prize at the culinary tournament where they baked pizzas from wholegrain flour and milk desserts. The tournament took place at the ‘Independence’ square in Razgrad. The players’ team competed against the ‘Vassil Levski’ and ‘Ivan S. Turgenev’ elementary schools. The young players were able to prepare the best and healthiest delicacies and were awarded in that same category.

The participants received a variety of tasty treats. An attractive quiz involved everyone in the world of healthy foods. The event ended with the penguin dance and many new friendships were established.
