CAFE Week of Action 2017 Report
Since 2013, CAFE has held an annual celebration of access and inclusion and invited fans, clubs, leagues and other key stakeholders to take part.
The CAFE Week of Action was created as part of our UEFA EURO 2012 legacy project in Poland and Ukraine, and has now grown into a Europe-wide celebration. 13 different countries took part in the CAFE Week of Action 2016.
For this season’s campaign, Total Football Total Access was celebrated in a record 20 countries, with countries including Spain, Russia and Malta taking part for the first time.
This season’s CAFE Week of Action also saw the launch of CAFE’s new mascot. Max Access is a young partially sighted fan who enjoys nothing more than attending live matches with his family and friends. Max helped to publicise and celebrate activities taking place under the umbrella of Total Football Total Access.
This import report gives insight into the campaigns impact and reach.
If you would like to get involved in next season’s CAFE Week of Action, contact CAFE Media & Communications Manager Michael Rice by email to michael@cafefootball.eu to discuss your ideas further.
