EFDN is looking to appoint new treasurer

The European Football for Development Network is seeking to appoint a new treasurer to ensure that the Network has the capacity and skills to oversee the next phase of its work.

The treasurer is expected to play a central role in guiding strategies to drive the vision of the European Football for Development Network and its members forward. Therefore, it is from high relevance that the new board member is passionate about the mission and vision of the Network and CSR in European Football.

It is an exciting time to join the European Football for Development Network, as we continue to grow across Europe. The new board member will be recruited for a period of up to three years. The role will require a part-time commitment of five to eight hours a month. The board member will not be remunerated and is not covered by employee insurance. Travel and accommodation to official EFDN events and board meetings are covered by EFDN.

About EFDN

The European Football for Development Network consists of professional football clubs, leagues and FAs who are committed to their communities and social responsibilities and have the passion to cooperate and engage on a European level.

The network aims to promote the power of football as a tool for social development and support the efforts of the network members in their initiatives to use football to reach out to various target groups in their communities. The network creates a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing in order to develop a diversity of training methods that will directly benefit communities throughout Europe.

EFDN provides guidance and support within the context of community and social responsibility in European football, including in the areas of community programming, stadium accessibility, environmentally friendly and sustainable business practices and the establishment of effective supporter management relations.
