Rangers Charity Foundation

RCF high res

The Rangers Charity Foundation exists to bring Club, supporters, staff and players together in a unique way to help make the world of difference to thousands of lives through a range of charitable and community work.  We strive to be champion of charitable giving, and since our creation in 2002 we have donated over £4 million in cash and in-kind support to hundreds of organizations, groups and individuals.

For season 2016/17 the Foundation is working with Charity Partners UNICEF, Breast Cancer Care, Beatson Cancer Charity, The Simon Community and Glasgow City Mission.  We also continue to support our long standing partnership with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and our Armed Forces Partnership which supports veterans and serving personnel.

In addition to our work supporting charity partners, our comprehensive community programmes reach thousands of children and adults with important messages and training regarding health and fitness, employment, equality, diversity and education.

The Foundation organises Dream Days twice a season, where children and adults who have been through an illness or difficult time in their lives come along to meet the team and watch them train as well as receiving a tour of Ibrox Stadium.  We respond to over 2,500 requests for support each year and donate raffle and auction items to people raising funds for causes close to their hearts in communities up and down the country.

The Foundation also aims to assist other charities and charitable causes where possible – particularly those which address our key priority areas which are:

  • The needs of children
  • Education
  • Social inclusion
  • Tolerance and understanding of the beliefs of all sectors of the community
  • Health and well-being

In addition, the Foundation makes the dreams of hundreds of sick, disabled and disadvantaged children come true by arranging for them to meet the players and attend matches and tours at Ibrox stadium.
