Fulham Memories

Fulham Football Club Foundation was pleased to welcome Fulham FC legend Les Strong to Craven Cottage on Wednesday 8th March 2017.

Joined by Sky Sports, the former left back spent time with participants of the Fulham Memories programme, sharing fond memories of Fulham’s past and answering questions from some of the White’s most long-standing supporters.

The Fulham Memories programme was made available through #Cohen66 – a 12-week campaign which was just set to launch, this time last year. In recognition of George Cohen’s contributions to club and country, Fulham raised money to erect a statue of the World Cup winner at Craven Cottage, and to help fund a cause close to George’s heart in the care of dementia sufferers. Fulham Chairman Shahid Khan matched every pound raised. The Foundation use sport as a reminiscence tool for those living with dementia, and to increase social connections amongst Fulham FC supporters.
