NEC Nijmegen and Pluryn start a long-term cooperation

The NEC Foundation is going to start a long-term cooperation in the field of employment with the Dutch organisation Pluryn. Pluryn supports people with complex health related questions in regards to living, work, education and leisure time. Both parties, the NEC Foundation and Pluryn, will work together to contribute to the development of Pluryn’s clients.

The developed programme will provide clients of Pluryen with opportunity to work one day a week at the Nijmeegse Football club. The participants will carry out work activities around the Goffert Stadium. While taking part in the programme, the clients will receive support from Pluryn’s staff members, which in return will be in direct contact with stadium manager Theo Benthum.

Sjoerd Ouwned from Pluryn states that the initiative has an added value for the clients of Pluryn. They belong to the “NEC family” and contribute to the success of the club.

Luc te Riele, from NEC Foundation is very pleased with the cooperation: The NEC Foundation and Pluryn share the belief that every person in the society is entitled to equal opportunities. With the guidance of Pluryn, we offer the company’s clients the opportunity to develop themselves in an inspiring environment.
