Volunteers’ Award 2016
The winners in the Bayer 04 Sportförderung gGmbH Volunteers’ Award 2016 will be presented with their prizes at the homegame against SC Freiburg in the BayArena.
The Bayer 04 Leverkusen Sportförderung gGmbH was set up in 2007 with the aim of promoting volunteering in football. The annual Volunteers’ Award has raised over 150,000 euros to date for 30 clubs from the Middle Rhine (FVM) and Lower Rhine (FVM) football associations. The tenth year of awards remained true to the initial aim by rewarding committed regional clubs with prizes of 15,000 euros. Pronova BKK, a Premium Partner of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, have formed a strong partnership with the gGmbH starting this year.
“Again and again it’s impressive how many people are fully involved in volunteering,” declared Michael Schade who is the CEO of both Bayer 04 Leverkusen Fußball GmbH and Bayer 04 Sportförderung gGmbH. “The applications submitted demonstrate the strong commitment in our region that definitely provides a support for professional football.”
At the same day Bayer 04 will invite all volunteers of the city Leverkusen to the Bundesliga Game against SC Freiburg.
