CLUB BRUGGE FOUNDATION AWARDED ONCE AGAIN

Club Brugge Foundation received the Football & Social Responsibility Gold Label for the operation of our Foundation. This label is awarded annually by the Pro League to clubs in recognition of the quality social operation they have carried out last year.

Based on the case they submitted, a jury of experts awarded the club the Gold label, the highest distinction for their Foundation operation. This recognises their excellent social commitment on a club level, translated into a high-quality strategic policy plan. The Club Brugge Foundation’s pioneering role in the field of socio-sports policy at national level was also recognised by the jury. Since the introduction of this prestigious quality label in 2017, they have already received this highest recognition six years in a row!

FOR 16 YEARS “MORE THAN FOOTBALL”

Since the start of Club Brugge’s community operation in 2007, they have always pursued the ‘More Than Football’ idea, looking beyond their sporting task. For 16 years now, Club Brugge Foundation has been using the power and impact of soccer to make a positive social contribution, with an extra focus on the most vulnerable target groups within society. Under the slogan ‘No Heart/No Glory’ the foundation carries out around 20 projects every year at local, national and international levels on the themes of sports participation, education, health, inclusion and sustainability.

“THANKS TO THE HARD WORK OF MANY”

“As a top club in Belgian football, we look at more than just our performance on the field. As a football club with great reach and impact, we also have a social commitment to those less fortunate in our society. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of all staff, volunteers and project partners, we are able to translate our slogan ‘No Heart/No Glory’ into concrete actions on a daily basis, thus making a positive contribution in the lives of many people. We are therefore proud that this social commitment of Club Brugge was awarded the Pro League Football & Social Responsibility Gold Label!”
