Working at EFDN

The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) is a non profit organisation that supports more than 180 professional football Clubs, Leagues and FAs that are convinced of the social power of football and want to cooperate on a European level. The aim of our network is to promote the connecting power of football as a tool for social development in general and the exchange of knowledge and creating (funding) opportunities for local participants of our member clubs in particular.

“Thanks to EFDN, I had a chance to learn more about both the organisation and its members and non-members when it comes to their mission and CSR activities. I definitely recommend EFDN to all interns willing to explore the sports industry and have an opportunity to create great experiences for each target group.”

– Viktoria Mileva, Bulgaria | Communication Support Officer (Internship)

“I had the opportunity to take part into great projects that lead me to gain valuable knowledge.
EFDN has given me a whole new image of sport and shown me that it can have a real positive impact on individuals and communities. It was a great experience to work with the project managers team!”

– Louise Couzi, France | Project Support Officer (Internship)

“EFDN was my first internship, my first real experience with the industry. I got the opportunity to organise football events from a scratch which helped me in my development as an event professional. I met amazing people with whom I’m still in contact.”

– Martin Pavelka, Slovakia | Project Support Officer (Internship)

“The best office environment you can ask for, where everyone is helpful. Variety of tasks that can improve your communication skills. Amazing experience in general.”

– Asrın Beceren, Turkey | Communication Support Officer (Internship)

“Interning at EFDN was nothing short of a successful experience. My time there was insightful, knowledgeable and truly inspiring. From the experience gained to the team joined, I would do it all over again.”
