EFDN welcomes St. Mirren FC to the Network!

Scottish Premiership club St Mirren FC is committed to implementing positive change in the community they serve and providing a brighter and more hopeful future. Rebuilding more resilient, resourceful communities. The St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation understands the responsibility they have in their community, the role that football plays in the lives of people in it, and the power that the stadium has as an engagement tool for the programmes they deliver.

The St. Mirren FC Charitable Foundation focuses on forming purposeful partnerships and is eager to share resources, information, and support. St Mirren FC understand the social challenges many Renfrewshire residents face and they are committed to implementing long-term, sustainable, positive change to help provide them with a brighter and more hopeful future. Developing positive and mutually beneficial partnerships is essential in helping them achieve that.

Find here some of the CSR Programmes that St. Mirren FC Charitable Foundation proposes to its Community:

Buddie Big Scran

Buddie Big Scran is a recently launched programme that takes place within the stadium at no cost. It invites individuals in twice a week for a hot meal, great company, and good fun. Each night we host different activities, so far including games night and live musicians. We are all facing struggles with the cost of living crisis and therefore this safe, non-judgemental environment provides people with the opportunity to be open and honest with how they are feeling.

The Changing Room

The Changing Room aims to promote men’s mental health and well-being through the power of the beautiful game. This 12-week programme invites men aged 30-64 to step down from the stands, into the heart of their club, to take action for their mental health. It helps men better self-manage their mental health and support one another.
