FC Twente announces participation in new Eredivisie Community Champions programme

FC Twente, Scoren in de wijk, will start 7 March with a new project: Community Champions. Community Champions is a project based on the Youth Social Service (MDT) and will last 16 weeks. The project is aimed at young people between 15 and 27 years of age from the Twente region.

They will volunteer five hours a week. In these weeks, they will learn various skills in the stadium, which they will apply to various activities during the project. These activities include social (neighbourhood) activities, various workshops and football activities. 8 teams will compete against each other and the winner will participate in a national tournament in cooperation with 7 other Eredivisie clubs.

In addition to their own intrinsic motivation, during the project the participants will be motivated to deliver top performance by receiving various FC Twente related rewards such as a clothing package, match tickets and a savings card for FC Twente articles.

You can find more information about the programme here.
