Foundation 92 forms partnership to launch new disability, sports, and inclusion programme

EFDN member Foundation 92 and Reech Sports are proud to be working collaboratively to support young people with additional needs to become more active, helping them to gain new transferable skills, such as leadership, communication, decision making, problem solving, and teamworking.

Through the support of Reech Sports, Foundation 92’s specialist inclusion team are proud to be delivering over 100 free sports, outreach and engagement sessions throughout 2022. These sessions will help young people become more active as well as supporting them to lead a healthy and positive lifestyle.

Young people will be provided with the opportunity to take part in a range of sports, personal development activities, and the opportunity to work with professional support workers helping them develop the confidence and skills to lead sustained healthy lifestyles.

“I am delighted to be collaborating with a likeminded organisation such as Reech Sports, who are passionate about supporting and providing inclusive activities for young people and adults living with additional needs and disabilities. […] Foundation 92 is committed to providing inclusive services, that meet the bespoke needs of each service user that we engage with and with the support of Reech Sports will enable us to enhance our disability offer throughout the city of Salford.”
