Foundation FC Groningen In The Society and USG Restart Enter Social Partnership

Foundation FC Groningen in the Society is proud to announce a social partnership with USG Restart, a leading organization in the field of reintegration and job placement. The two organizations have been linked for quite some time and are now making the collaboration official. This partnership enables Foundation FC Groningen in the Society to achieve an even greater impact within the Social Activation exercise program.

The Social Activation program has been specially developed to help people who have difficulty finding work and/or training and maintaining a structured life rhythm. In addition to intensive supervision, various activities are offered, with the aim of preparing the participants for a job. A group of participants is supervised for six months.

Valuable Combination

The program can change lives in a very tangible and concrete way. The joint goal of Foundation FC Groningen in the Society and USG Restart is to offer people a better future and to help them realize their full potential. Everyone has the right to a meaningful career and to contribute to society, regardless of the obstacles that must be overcome. Due to the more intensive cooperation, both partners are even more committed to more exercise in combination with personal growth. The collaboration between Foundation FC Groningen in the Society and USG Restart entails a valuable combination of forces. While USG Restart contributes its extensive expertise in the field of reintegration and job placement, FC Groningen adds to the Society the strong local network, facilities and sporting inspiration.

“We are delighted to be working with the FC Groningen Foundation in Society and supporting their Social Activation Program.”

Herman Rozema, Operational Manager of USG Restart

Social Activation Program

Within the program, various activities and guidance are offered to support the participants in their personal and professional development. This includes (football) training, workshops and sports activities aimed at building self-confidence, developing new skills and stimulating personal growth. During the program, the participants are motivated and provided with tools to take another step in the right direction. The participants inspire each other, show respect and take steps both on and off the football field in developing team spirit, their own talent and social skills.
