IF Elfsborg brings Christmas presents to Children’s Hospital

On Monday, it was time for IF Elfsborg to traditionally visit the play therapy department at Södra Älvsborgs Hospital and hand out Christmas presents to all children, which is something the club does every year.

The player bus with the A-team squad on board rolled up to the hospital around lunchtime. Once there, they met representatives from the hospital outside the building and handed over the Christmas presents to the children.

“When the matches start next year, we hope to be able to take some children with us and see you play.”

Karolina Borg, play therapist at SÄS

In addition to Christmas presents such as balls, movie tickets and signed match shirts, sweets and cookies were also offered. The players also donated money to the play therapy that can be used to buy toys for the department.

“This is one of the activities the players themselves appreciate the most”

Vedad Aganovic, CSR manager, IF Elfsborg
