İSTANBUL BAŞAKŞEHİR FK STARTS USING ECO-FRIENDLY, BIO-DEGREDABLE PACKAGING IN ITS STORE
İstanbul Başakşehir FK introduces new packaging which will be biodegradable, produced by natural resources and decomposable in 6 months in nature.
During the month of August, İstanbul Başakşehir FK celebrated its 10th season in Turkish Super Lig, and decides to take another positive step within the Club’s Climate Act policy to protect the environment, and starts using eco-friendly packaging in its store. As part of the agreement with a local company, Kargom Torbam who produces eco-friendly packages, the company will produce 3 sizes of packaging from biodegradable raw materials and use bio (organic) based paint for the colours on the packaging. Additionally, an information note “biodegradable” will feature, which can degrade in nature in 6 months compared to plastic packaging. The cargo bags used by Başakşehir Store in online shopping will have the same feature.
İstanbul Başakşehir has been running environmental campaigns and carries environmental messages on its alternative kits for 3 years. The Club will continue to work making a positive impact in the environment as a big part of its identity.
İstanbul Başakşehir FK, which constantly emphasises its environmentalist identity with the works it has done in recent years, will continue their efforts in this field, this season.
