KAA Gent Foundation receives Award ‘Best Community and Social Responsibility Work’

The Belgian Pro league awarded KAA Gent with the title Pro League+ Gold for best football in the community organization in Belgium. It’s the second time in only four years that the KAA Gent Foundation receives this prestigious award.
The KAA Gent Foundation uses football’s power to create social value. Through 14 social-emancipatory projects the organisation is nowadays working with more than 600 people to strengthen personal skills, creating group dynamics, neighbourhood commitment and building civil society.
The KAA Gent Foundation is a well structured social organisation linked to KAA Gent. As a football organisation with a social purpose KAA Gent thinks highly of its social responsibility. The club works together very closely with the city of Gent, OCMW Gent, Gent Stad in Werking en KAA Gent’s supporters federation.
In October 2017 the KAA Gent Foundation presented its daily work with an extensive publication. More than ever KAA Gent is taking the lead in Belgium on the field of CSR in professional football.
