Legia Warsaw contributes to #17Million campaign

A social media campaign called #17 million, which will last throughout October, will be a campaign that is actively supported by footballers and the Legia Warsaw Foundation.

Since 2015, every year in October, the Colorful World Foundation, which deals with the specialist care of children with cerebral palsy on a daily basis, has been implementing the national campaign #17 million aimed at increasing the awareness of Polish society about cerebral palsy. The Legia Foundation, along with the club and players, also joins in supporting the campaign. Every year, more and more individuals, institutions and well-known public figures are involved in the #17 million social campaign. This year’s edition of the campaign is also actively supported by footballers from Legia Warsaw, engaging not only to inform their fans about the purpose of the campaign but also by providing a club shirt with the signatures of their players for a charity auction.

Any person can join the campaign #17milion now and support it. The Colorful World Foundation will be able to sum up the meters to reach the intended goal – 17 million meters by analysing the social media posts from people that share their sports activities.
