LFP and HandiCaPZéro join forces to make Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 even more inclusive

For the 11th year running, the Ligue de Football Professionnel is making a commitment to visually impaired supporters by making available, in partnership with HandiCaPZéro, the new adapted Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT guides for the 2023/2024 season.

The French Professional Football League is making a commitment to blind and partially-sighted supporters by working with HandiCaPZéro to develop adapted guides for Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT.

For the 2023/2024 season, the LFP is once again providing visually impaired football fans with guides to its leagues, bringing together all the information they need to immerse themselves fully in the heart of the game.

The LFP and HandiCaPZéro have combined their knowledge and expertise to design these guides to Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT, which are accessible to all blind and partially-sighted supporters thanks to four versions:

• A Braille format
• An enlarged-print version
• An audio format
• A web version

To coincide with the release of the adapted Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT guides in mid-September, HandiCaPZéro interviewed a visually impaired supporter who is taking advantage of these tools:

”I already had access to the season’s fixtures via a notification sent by handicapzero.org last June, so it was great to get them so quickly. I’ve been an AS Saint-Étienne supporter for as long as I can remember, but I enjoy reading the two guides in Braille, particularly the section devoted to the players and their transfers.”
