Member Christmas initiatives: donate a gift for a child from the Club Brugge wish tree 

The Christmas and New Year period, a warm time where we celebrate the holidays with family and friends and look back on the past year. The Club Brugge Foundation also wants to give Bruges children living in underprivileged circumstances “the most wonderful time of the year”. 

The number of people in deprivation is also rising in the Bruges region. According to the latest figures, 1 in 7 children in Bruges grows up in an underprivileged environment. These families often do not have the financial means to present their children with gifts during this festive season 

Blue-black wishing tree 

There is currently a Christmas tree in the Club Shop and City Shop. It is decorated with greeting cards on which various personal toy wishes are written of Bruges children who are less fortunate. You can help to fulfil these children’s wishes. 

Stop by the Club Shop at the Jan Breydel Stadium or the City Shop! 

Take a look at their Wish Tree and choose a child’s wish you wish to fulfil by buying this toy. Via their Foundation partners, this gift will reach the right child.
